These are the major voice actors and performance artists that appear in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Anyone who has played the original game will recognize a few faces, while film and television aficionados will likely know a few of these creatives.
Sam Porter Bridges – Norman Reedus

The character of Sam Porter Bridges is played by Norman Reedus. The actor is once again reprising his role as the lead protagonist in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach. Reedus is known for his work in the TV show The Walking Dead and the spin-off, The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon. He’s also starred in films such as The Boondock Saints, Blade 2, and more.
Fragile – Lea Seydoux

The character of Fragile is portrayed by Lea Seydoux, who is reprising her role from the first game. Seydoux is known for her work in the film industry, including appearing the recent adaptation of Frank Herbert’s Dune, Dune: Part Two, where she played Margot Fenring. She also appeared in the James Bond film Spectre as Madeleine Swann, and The Grand Budapest Hotel as Clothilde.
Higgs – Troy Baker

Higgs is played by Troy Baker, who, like the previous actors, is reprising his role from the first game. Baker has a long history of voice acting work in the industry with such iconic characters as Pagan Min from Far Cry 6, Indiana Jones in Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Magni from God of War, and Joel Miller from The Last of Us.
Doctor – Debra Wilson

Debra Wilson is playing the role of Doctor, a character that appears to have two right hands. Players will remember Wilson from her portrayal as Savathun in Destiny 2, Commander Thira in Doom: The Dark Ages, Harbinger from Halo Infinite, as well as various characters from Halo 3, Grand Theft Auto 5, and Gears of War 5.
Dollman – Fatih Akin & Jonathan Roumie

The character of Dollman is actually the combination of two actors, Fatih Akin and Jonathan Roumie. Akin is used for the likeness of the puppet while Roumie offers the voice acting part of the character’s portrayal. Fatih Akin is primarily a film director, screenwriter, and producer while Jonathan Roumie has appeared in the Death Stranding series before as Mules, Russell in Days Gone, while also voicing additional characters in Saints Row, Ghost of Tsushima and more.
Heartman – Nicolas Winding Refn & Darren Jacobs

The character of Heartman is played by two people, Nicolas Winding Refn and Darren Jacobs. Like with Dollman, Heartman’s appearance is based on Nicolas Winding Refn, a director, writer, and producer who is known for his work on The Neon Demon, Drive, and the Pusher films. Darren Jacobs voiced Heartman in the original game and has appeared in Starfield as Stratos, Dragon Age: Inquisition, Smite, as well as other film and television shows.
Lucy – Alissa Jung

The character of Lucy is played by Alissa Jung, a German actress who has appeared in many Gearman films.
Neil – Luca Marinelli

Neil is played by Luca Marinelli, an Italian actor that has appeared in both film and television. He was the voice of Mufasa in the Italian dub of Mufasa: The Lion King.
Rainy – Shioli Kutsuna

Death Stranding 2’s Rainy is played by Shioli Kutsuna who has previous acting work across the film and television industry. Kutsuna appeared in Deadpool 2 and Deadpool & Wolverine as Yukio, The Outsider as Miyu, and voiced the character of Aurora in the Japanese-language version of Professor Layton and the Azran Legacy.
Tarman – George Miller & Marty Rhone

Continuing the theme of having directors and writers appear as characters, Tarman is played by both George Miller and Marty Rhone. Miller provided the appearance for the character and will be known by players as the creator of the Mad Max series. He also wrote, directed, and produced Happy Feet. Marty Rhone, on the other hand, provides the voice of Tarman. Rhone is an Australian singer-songwriter that has appeared in Aussie television but also voiced the narrator in Street Fighter 6.
The President – Alastair Duncan

Alastair Duncan voices the President in Death Stranding 2. Duncan is known for his work in Avowed, God of War as Mimir, and Isidora’s father in Hogwarts Legacy.
Tomorrow – Elle Fanning

Tomorrow is played by Elle Fanning, an actor with acting credits from films like I Am Sam, Daddy Day Care, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, The Neon Demon, and more.
