Constance W. Landry HOOKSETT, NH — Mrs. Constance W. (Wilcox) Landry, 77, of Hooksett, passed away peacefully at the Villa Crest Nursing Center on June 5, 2025, after a period of declining health. Born in Berlin, Vermont, Connie was the daughter of Thomas and Marion (DeGoosh) Wilcox. She was raised in Fairlee, VT, and graduated from Thetford Academy in 1965. After marrying Armand Landry, they moved to Pembroke, NH, in 1978, where they raised their three children. Connie inherited her warm, friendly spirit from her mother, a trait she carried throughout her life and shared generously with everyone she met. She was known for her welcoming smile, quick wit, and infectious laughter that often left everyone in tears of joy. She was a loving mother and grandmother, the heart of every gathering, and the kind of person who would drop everything to help others. Her home was a welcoming place that always had room for friends and neighbors. After attending beauty school, she owned and operated a salon in Fairlee, VT, before eventually staying home to raise her children. She returned to work in the 1980s, initially as a manager at a roller-skating rink in Concord, where she was affectionately known as “mom” to the staff and regular patrons. Later, she worked as a paraprofessional at the Three Rivers School in Pembroke, where she served for 17 years. Her warm, social personality made her a friendly ear for countless kids and teens. Connie loved to sew and knit, decorate cakes for special occasions (including a few wedding cakes!), play bingo, and read and play games on her Kindle. She was predeceased by her brother, Robert Wilcox. She leaves behind her loving children: Christina Trottier and her husband Thomas of South Royalton, VT; Stephanie Landry of Chichester; and Craig Landry of Pembroke. She was the proud and loving grandmother to Savannah and Caleb. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Tuesday, June 17th from 4 to 6 P.M. at The Roan Family Funeral Home, 167 Main St. in Pembroke. In lieu of flowers, donations in Connie’s memory may be sent to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation at https://www.bcrf.org/.
