Fever vs. Mystics box score, stats: How many points did DeWanna Bonner, Shakira Austin score?

The Indiana Fever found themselves in a position like that of their preseason opener against the Washington Mystics, and the looked the part to start unlike that previous meeting.
Indiana jumped out to an early lead playing without superstar Caitlin Clark. But the game was won by the Mystics, 83-77, who made adjustments and gained an edge in each of the remaining three quarters after the Fever led 23-19 after the first.
Here are notes and stats from Wednesday's game.
Is Caitlin Clark playing tonight?
For the first time in her collegiate or professional career, Clark missed a game that mattered. The WNBA superstar was ruled out for at least two weeks with a quadriceps injury. That meant she would miss at least four games, and potentially more.
Sydney Colson took over as the starting point guard Wednesday. Clark was seated on the bench alongside the coaching staff as an opportunity for the second-year player to learn from a different vantage point. She still greeted fans for photos and autographs before the game.
