Missouri State basketball, Cuonzo Martin add North Dakota transfer in portal

Missouri State basketball landed its second Division I player via the transfer portal this offseason.
Cuonzo Martin received a commitment from North Dakota grad transfer Amar Kuljuhovic, a 6-foot-8 post, who shared the news on his Instagram page on Saturday evening.
Kuljuhovic was the second player to commit to the Bears on Saturday, following Truman State transfer Kobi Williams.
Kuljuhovic spent the last two seasons at North Dakota after he played two years at NJCAA Division II Lake Land. He started in 50 of 53 games over the previous two seasons.
After earning Summit League All-Newcomer honors as a junior, Kuljuhovic followed this past year by averaging 10.7 points and 6.8 rebounds. He's a career 53.7% shooter, and he took a limited number of shots from beyond the arc. He shoots 66.3% from the free throw line and was UND's third-leading scorer on a team that finished 12-21.
Information on Kuljuhovic's recruitment after entering the transfer portal is limited.
Kuljuhovic is the seventh player to announce his transfer to Missouri State since the end of the 2024-25 season, after all but three players from last year's team entered the transfer portal. He's the second Division I transfer to commit to the Bears, joining Grambling State transfer Antwan Burnett.
