Netflix is currently streaming an action-packed series that has subscribers gripped.
The show was cancelled by its original streaming platform last year but has found a new lease of life on Netflix after arriving on March 1.
Fans have been engrossed since the show landed on Netflix with the sci-fi epic currently ranking at number seven in the world.
It’s the only non-Netflix original title in the top 10 global shows, making it even more impressive.
This drama debuted in 2022 and originally ran for two seasons before getting axed by its makers.
Halo was the splashy military science fiction based on the video game from Bungie and 343 Industries, screening on streaming platform Paramount+.

The show followed a 26th-century war between the United Nations Space Command and the alien alliance the Covenant, which wanted to erase humanity.
One fan gave the show a five-star rating and posted on Google: “I'm a huge fan of the books and the first three games, I've been overall impressed with the new series. The combat is spot-on to what I imagined, the elites and Spartan's are incredible to watch in action.”
Another five-star review said: “Thoroughly entertaining, and for someone who has played the first game only this has satisfied me plenty and made me a fan. The series did not disappoint throughout it's run [sic].”

A third said: “Truly one of the greatest pieces of media I have ever consumed in my life, I honestly can't recall how many times I've gone back to revisit this masterpiece. The story alone is award winning but it is heightened so much by the incredible performances of all the cast really bringing each of their respective roles to life in a way I have never seen before.”
In a statement about Halo’s cancellation in 2024, a Paramount+ spokesperson said: “We are extremely proud of this ambitious series and would like to thank our partners at Xbox, 343 Industries and Amblin Television, along with showrunner and executive producer David Wiener, his fellow executive producers, the entire cast led by Pablo Schreiber as Master Chief and the amazing crew for all their outstanding work. We wish everyone the best going forward.”

Given Netflix’s previous history of saving shows such as Lucifer, Designated Survivor, among others, Halo could get the same treatment if it gets the viewing figures.
Halo is ranking at number one on Netflix in countries including Bolivia, Belgium, Chile, Colombia and the Dominican Republic, while occupying a space on the top 10 most watch in many other nations.
Previously addressing hopes for a third season, showrunner David Wiener told Collider it was “totally the intention” to make more and said he hoped for another outing.
