The Williamson County Ag Expo Park will be jam-packed with guitar enthusiasts the weekend of March 22-23.

The best entertainment value anywhere has to be the $20 ticket to this year‘s Amigo Guitar Trade and Swap show at the Williamson County Ag Expo Park in Franklin, according to a media release from event organizers.

The Amigos are approaching their 250th show since their partnership formed in 1984. This year’s Nashville area show will be held Saturday, March 22, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Parking for the event is free.

Attendees are urged to bring their musical gear to sell, trade or have appraised. This is the largest show of its kind. Over 150 vendors are signed up to exhibit at this year‘s event. The show features manufacturers, builders, accessories, and thousands of used and vintage instruments from $20 wall hangers to $100,000 collectible guitars.

“We fully anticipate to see over 10,000 instruments in the course of the weekend,” a spokesperson for the event said through the release. “Simply stated, this is the largest marketplace for guitars anywhere. Vendors come from all over the world to this truly international show.

“The show attracts many of the music industries most recognized artists who come to shop for the tools of their trade.  No telling who you will see on the floor. Make plans now to attend.”

The first 400 ticket buyers on Sunday will receive a free set of guitar strings and there will be drawings throughout the show for giveaway event shirts, hats and guitars.
