Neymar looks to have forgotten all about his disappointing World Cup as he met up with his Brazil team-mates for the first time since their quarter-final exit to Belgium.

The Paris Saint-Germain star trained in New Jersey alongside Willian, Filipe Luis and Philippe Coutinho among others ahead of friendly fixtures against the USA and El Salvador.

Tite's side looked in jovial mood as they began a new cycle following what many perceive to have been a failure in Russia. Brazil were the slight favourites to win the World Cup, but never performed at their best before crashing out in the last eight.

Although Tite retained his position as manager, there are a number of new faces in the team. Everton's Richarlison is one of several players to earn a first-ever call-up after a blistering start to life at Goodison Park.

Richarlison has scored three goals in his opening three Premier League games following his £44million summer move from Watford

Despite being sent off in his last game against Bournemouth, the 21-year-old had evidently done enough to earn his place in a young squad. However, he admits the call, which came while he was playing video games with his friends, was still a surprise.

'I was lying playing video games with my friends here at home,' the winger said.

'That's when Edu's call arrived. I got very surprised at the time, not believing. Because I did not expect it.

'I had just arrived from training, I had lunch and went to play my video game, which is normal. And suddenly a call arrives like that and hear that I'm being called to the national team. There is nothing better.'

Richarlison is likely to make his debut in Brazil's friendly against the USA at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday evening. The team then travel to Maryland to face Central American side El Salvador, giving the players a second chance to impress.

The Everton winger is joined by fellow Premier League star Andreas Pereira in the squad. Pereira, a Manchester United player, is another looking to establish himself after earning a first call-up to the senior squad.
