Call of Duty WW2 Beta END TIME: When does PS4 Beta finish and Xbox One Beta start?

Before the start of the Call of Duty WW2 Beta on PS4, Sledgehammer Games were incredibly keen to stress that this Private Multiplayer Beta was largely intended as an "opportunity to test core gameplay systems and collect feedback at scale."

The developers were keen to hear feedback, good AND bad so they could ensure an amazing launch in November.

Which is exactly what players did and as a result Sledgehammer responded telling fans:

"Thank you for all the awesome, valuable feedback on the Private Multiplayer Beta. We’ve been really impressed with everyone’s progress so far! So impressed, in fact, that we have now raised the level cap to 25! You’ll now have unlockables such as the Bouncing Betty Lethal, Fighter Pilot Scorestreak, and more available."

That wasn't all though because the team also responded to a number of common bugs and issues they were working on, having been flagged by the community.

"We've been actively tracking feedback, and have noticed some common trends that we'll begin addressing on the dev side. If you missed it last night on our Reddit thread dedicated to community feedback, here are some notes that we posted. We'll be actively working to address the trending feedback items."

Keep reading below to discover what some of these common problems with the Beta. Hopefully, some of them could be fixed in time for the second Call of Duty WW2 Beta later this week.

CALL OF DUTY WW2 BETA BUGS

• We love the positive reactions to the new overhead camera esports feature. In response to feedback about visibility of objectives, especially Hardpoints, we are currently working on solutions for launch.

• Some players are reporting getting trapped in an update loop after they are prompted to restart their game to complete an update of the client. We have been resolving these through basic troubleshooting and are investigating further steps.

• You have asked about a color blind setting in the menu. While not in the Beta, we have been working to have this for launch.

• In response to all the requests for bumper jumper configuration, we also plan to support this for launch.

• We’ve heard your feedback regarding playlist variety, and have made some adjustments to improve this. You know what else would improve it? More maps and modes.

• We’ve heard your feedback on the Paratroopers Scorestreak having some edge case issues. We made some adjustments today, but they didn’t address the core issue in the way we wanted. We’ve got new fixes coming soon.

• We are investigating a bug that causes some players to be kicked back to the Main Menu after accepting an invite from the load screen of any map.

• There is a bug causing the title to crash when an invitee accepts an invite while entering a match when the inviter is also entering the match.

• Some of you have noted that the incendiary shells feel too strong. We’re looking into data to determine if a nerf is needed.

• Improvements to Party UI / UX are underway. Implementation date is still TBD, but know that we are actively working on it.

The Call of Duty WW2 Beta got underway last week but only for PS4 players who had pre-ordered the game early.

However, the Call of Duty Early Access Beta for PS4 Players is likely set to finish later today, August 28 at  10am PST which is 6pm in the UK.

Thankfully, both PS4 and Xbox One players won't have long to wait before they can jump into the game all over again.

In three days time both Xbox One and PS4 (Again) players will be able to play the Beta together (not cross play mind, just at the same time) when the games' second private beta gets underway.

The second beta for both consoles is set for September 1, with a start time planned for 6pm BST.

Like the Call of Duty WW2 beta that's currently underway, you'll need to have a code to play and the only way you'll get that is by pre-ordering the game, either from the Xbox Store, PlayStation store or a UK retailer.

PS4 Players who've already enjoyed the beta will likely be all set and ready to go, but if you're on Xbox it's worth taking a quick look at Activision's FAQ page to help get started.

Equally, Xbox One players can start pre-loading the beta tomorrow and if you want to ensure you can jump into the game as soon as possible, we recommend downloading the 16GB Beta beforehand. from

Xbox Pre-load will become available on August 29th at 6pm BST / 10am PST.

For those interested, Michael Condrey has also confirmed that there will be a PC beta, but no time or date has been provided as of yet.

Although this is far from the full experience planned for release on November 3 for PS4, Xbox One and PC, there is still quite a bit to do and below you'll find an overview on what you should expect in the Call of Duty Private Multiplayer Beta, as confirmed by Sledgehammer Games:

Maps – At least three Multiplayer maps, including: Pointe Du Hoc, Ardennes, and Gibraltar.

War Mode – Operation BreakoutModes – Fan-favorite modes, including Team Deathmatch, Domination, and Hardpoint.Divisions – Enlist in the Infantry, Expeditionary, Airborne, Armored, or Mountain Division. You are not limited to any one Division, and we encourage you to try them all!

Progression – Players will begin at Soldier Rank 1 and rank up through a limited progression to unlock weapons, scorestreaks, equipment, and Basic Training Skills.

As mentioned, this isn't the full retail experience and as such, fans should take note that they can't sample everything just yet.

So to prepare you, below is an overview of what you shouldn't expect to see in the Call of Duty Private Multiplayer Beta, as confirmed by Sledgehammer Games:

Headquarters – We’re testing the match-making of this all-new social experience, but access to this space will not be active during the Multiplayer Beta.

Supply Drops and Loot – These customization features that add depth and personality to your soldier will not be included in the Multiplayer Beta.

Esports – Ranked Play, Game Battles, and our suite of competitive features will be accessible when we release in November.

Additional content, including - Full progression, remaining maps and modes, additional War Mode maps, and the full armoury of weapons, scorestreaks, Basic Training, and equipment.

Yes! Playing the Call of Duty Private beta will give you access to the Beta Combat Pack (above), which includes a unique Helmet, Calling Card and Emblem for your character, gifted to players when the game launches on November 3rd.

In addition to this, players who pre-order the game at select retailers will receive the Divisions Pack (also above), which includes five Premium Gear Sets inspired by the five Divisions in Call of Duty: WWII multiplayer.

Not really, but a few more details about the Private beta were revealed during Sledgehammer's recent trip to Gamescom. Below is a quick run down of what you might have missed:

• The Call of Duty WWII Beta Level Cap is Level 20 on Day 1.

• Divisions has 5 levels in total, but players can only reach level 4 in the beta. However, in the full game, reaching level 5 unlocks the unique Division Weapon.

• The team also debuted a new map called Flak, which was used to host the preview of the games first eSports exhibition match at Gamescom.
