At Aleenta Phuket, start the celebrations on Christmas Eve with an elaborated dinner buffet featuring diverse festive Christmas dishes from around the world with a classic line-up of live entertainment including Christmas on Piano, The Best Christmas Carols of All Time and Evergreens of Love with a Touch of Christmas, performed by Ritchie Newton – perfect to get you in the festive mood. Gather with friends and family on Christmas Day over a jovial BBQ luncheon plus special guest DJ, or enjoy an a la carte dinner featuring a selection of traditional Christmas favourites. To end another year in style, Aleenta Phuket is putting on a lavish New Year’s Eve dinner buffet with specially crafted cocktails and a thrilling entertainment programme featuring a fantastic Evening with Elton John by Bert Neri, the Divas of Pop Live show with Edeliza Delos Santos, then Ritchie Newton returns with a Touch of Elvis before DJ Kingritch takes over with the best of the 60s, 70s & 80s to welcome the arrival of 2017.

At Aleenta Hua Hin, celebrate Christmas Eve with a “Best of Thailand” buffet dinner, accompanied by modern Thai acoustic and traditional Thai performances. The evening ends on a sweet note with a beach screening of “A Christmas Carol” with mulled wine and cookies. On Christmas Day, get into the giving spirit of the season with a visit to Mercy House Children’s Home in Pranburi, where the Aleenta Hua Hin team will be handing out gifts and amenities to underprivileged children. The best gift is the smiles on children’s faces as they see Santa arrive by motorbike. On New Year’s Eve, ring in the new at an all-out fun pyjama party and funky canape-and-cocktail party on the sand complete with chill-out beds, premium canapes passed around all night, and candles mirroring the twinkles above. Midnight fireworks mark the arrival of the new year, followed by the launch of paper lanterns skywards to symbolically release the old.
In the true spirit of Christmas, akyra Manor Chiang Mai is partnering with a local orphanage to have the kids join the Christmas Eve entertainment in a Christmas carols choir and Santa Claus escort. Guests will enjoy Christmas martinis & festive canapes at Rise bar, overlooking the iconic Doi Suthep Mountain, followed by a delicious a five-course dinner featuring Hokkaido scallop, smoked trout, cioppino with Andaman Sea tiger prawn, slow-baked lemon snow fish with Andaman blue crab, and an indulgent yule log for the holiday. Italics restaurant is celebrating the bounty of the ocean this year by putting on a Seven Fishes traditional Italian Christmas menu. On the last night of the year, guests are invited to join the Jazz Night at Italics from 8 p.m. onwards, where international saxophonist Jimmy Rougerie will have you dancing on the rooftop under the fireworks that light up the Chiang Mai skyline.

To continue celebrations on the next day, guests can partake in a Christmas Sunday Brunch at The Diplomat where tasty international and local dishes, a carving station and many more treats will please every palate. The evening of Christmas Day brings Oyster Night at The President Bar, where guests can indulge in delectable oysters, fresh seafood and a variety of fine Italian cold cuts. Last, but by no means least, the newest member of the akyra family will host a selection of inspired celebrations on the Andaman seashore to fire-up the festive season right after the property’s official launch. At akyra Beach Club Phuket the fun and flavours will include a blue-themed evening of traditional Mediterranean dishes presented at a lavish buffet on Christmas eve and a jungle-themed party and sumptuous Sunday brunch on Christmas Day. The eclectic line-up of festive musical delights includes performances by songstress Malika K from Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan who blends local classical, ethnic music with modern Western and Asian influences, including Jazz, Lounge, Blues, Soul, House and Pop. Saxophonist Yu Ceo will add more swoon to the Christmas vibe then DJ Tazz will mix in a magic touch of chill, deep, soulful house music. As one year becomes the next on 31 January, guests can indulge in a “best of” buffet including a Piccolo bottle of Moet for everyone then build up to the big 12 with star DJ Wii on the decks, who learned his art in top dance venues and at parties across Thailand, Myanmar and Australia. The deep house, soul and tech-house beats will get even more intense when Frank Nastri joins the party. Whenever the former percussionist with the popular U.S band, “JESTO FUNK” performs, the intensity of the music and lights transforms the night into one great tribal dance, and his rhythms are given a tropical edge courtesy of two fire twirling mermaids. To promote a fast recovery, New Year’s Day will be marked with a brunch that includes plenty of healthy injections.
