2016 Comic-Con Schedule: A Complete Listing Of Movies And TV Panels
San Diego Comic con International will be underway in just a couple weeks, and finally the schedule of presentations and panels have been revealed. After the jump I've compiled a listing of all the big movie and television presentations for Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday and now Sunday.
2016 Comic-Con Schedule: The Big Movies and TV Panels
My thoughts on Saturday: Holy cow. Anything and everything is going on Saturday. Warner Bros. has their secretive panel that will undoubtedly have a Justice League sneak peek, Marvel Studios closes out the big Hall H panels at the end of the day, there are a bunch of other TV shows with panels and all sorts of TV pilot screenings lasting well into the late hours. This is the biggest day for Comic-Con by far.My thoughts on Friday: Television has officially taken over Comic Con this year. Movie panels are hard to find on Friday, and filmmakers like Brad Bird have been put in some of the smaller rooms.My thoughts on Thursday: Wow, Thursday is an underwhelming day for Hall H. It might be the weakest non-Sunday in Hall H in the last decade. The only huge movie panel is Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets. Snowden coming to Comic Con is hurting my brain. And why did Marvel and Netflix put Luke Cage in the smaller Ballroom 20 instead of Hall H?
What follows is a chronological listing of the big movie and television presentations. I've excluded most broader panels that don't focus on a specific show or film and don't feature filmmakers.

Macgyver – Mac is back! The classic action-adventure drama and fan-favorite MacGyver is coming back to CBS this fall. MacGyver creates a clandestine organization within the U.S. government where he uses his extraordinary talent for unconventional problem solving and vast scientific knowledge to save lives. MacGyver and his team take on the responsibility of saving the world, armed to the teeth with resourcefulness and little more than bubble gum and a paper clip. Silicon Valley concluded its third season in June and will begin production on season 4 later this year. Using the 1979 novel and movie as a launching point, Time After Time chronicles the epic adventures of a young H.G. Wells. At the age of 28, the 19th-century scholar has yet to publish any of his landmark science fiction novels, but his idealistic thinking and radical ideas have led him to actually create a time machine. When his longtime friend-the charismatic (and secretly psychopathic) Dr. John Stevenson, a.k.a. Jack the Ripper, finds himself cornered by the authorities at Wells's London home, he escapes to present-day New York City using the time machine. Naturally, Wells follows, but instead of the utopian society he imagined would be in the future, he finds a world more aligned to Stevenson's temperament.
